re: disney parks – i regret to inform you that i am a bit of a disney adult. i'm from southern california and i grew up going to disneyland like once a year back when it wasn't prohibitively expensive. it instilled in me a deep and profound love of environmental storytelling and themed entertainment. the disney company is a foul and loathsome creature and i will be the first to criticize both their business practices and often their creative choices. but i will never concede that its century-long legacy of art and storytelling is without merit. anyways watch defunctland.
